If you think all the big political parties are the same - you're right! The bosses have got three parties - isn't it about time we had one of our own?
New Labour sleaze -
more snout in the trough
The so-called anonymous donations scandal sparked off by the laundering tactics of David Abrahams, another New Labour millionaire, has generated a media storm. One wonders why such hysteria wasn't aimed at the QinetiQ sell-off (the MOD research facility), authorised by Gordon Brown, for an eighth of its value to a private equity company. The share value increased by 20,000 times on privatisation and the senior civil servants responsible for organising and recommending the sell-off became multi-millionaires.
So, while low paid civil servants are offered what amounts to wage cuts and the tax payers get ripped off once again to the tune of millions, Brown's friends gorge themselves on undreamed of riches.
Astonishingly, this scam is not illegal but it confirms the axiom of Michael Corleone in The Godfather: "One man with a briefcase can steal more than 100 men with guns." Such are the ethics of the present government that brazenly retains the word 'Labour' in its title.
